Our Steve & Chris bulkhead lights are designed to have the electrical flex wired into them from the top – or bottom depending on which way up you fit them. But, if you don’t want to channel out your walls – or can’t because they’re exposed brick or plaster – what do you do. Unsightly wires running down your walls simply won’t do.

What's a 20mm conduit adapter for?

You'd use a 20mm conduit adapter when you want to utilise conduit piping to hide your electrical wiring. If you're into creating steampunk pipe lighting and perhaps want to incorporate a bulkhead into your design, you'd use one of these adapters to join the pipe and bulkhead light together.

Well... the clever boffins here at D&R have sourced this 20mm conduit adapter which basically screws into the top of these three bulkheads to, in turn, take 20mm metal pipe. Run your electrical flex down the conduit piping to not only give it added security from damage but also to conceal it. You can really make a feature out of this plumber type piping, which only adds to the industrial factory feel of your interior as far as we're concerned.

A brilliant use of conduit piping is to span a ceiling where there isn't a false ceiling to conceal electrical wires.
