Delving into the depths of your bag, you begin the impossible quest of finding your keys. You know they’re in there somewhere. Finally, you feel their sharp, cool metal against your frosted hands and grab them, yanking them out.
Twisting the lock, you hear it click, and you push down on the door handle, collapsing into your kitchen. It's blissfully warm - but instead of complaining about your other half leaving the heating on again, you embrace their forgetfulness.
