Just A Perfect Grey paint, is exactly that… A beautifully calm, pale grey that has no pink or blue undertone, yet still manages to be lovely and warm.
Our Just A Perfect Grey paint is a light grey wall paint that complements warm and cool colours alike. With no pink or blue undertone of its own, it looks great with both lighter and darker greys in the same tonal range as well as with warm neutrals in pebble and stone shades. It also looks beautiful with natural, textural materials in the same colour range – fawn suede and beautiful creamy ecru linens look stunning. It’s such a calming and serene shade, particularly mixed with a cool cream, taupe and biscuit. Perfect for creating a tranquil room to relax in.
Such a perfect grey makes the perfect backdrop to the Biophilia trend that is all the rage at the moment. To achieve the look, throw in some greenery with our foliage range, and don't forget to add texture with those finer details. We’ve used this light grey wall paint colour in both a lounge and kitchen. In the (very small, east-facing) kitchen it sits with white units, mid-grey flooring, dark wooden worktops and lots of natural light and looks fabulous. In the lounge, it’s pretty much as described above with lots of neutrals and natural textures. In this west-facing room it gets sun-dappled in the late afternoon/evening and is such a tranquil space that’s just what you want after a busy day at work.

Just A Perfect Grey paint
- Finishes: available in supreme matt emulsion or eggshell
- Sizes: supreme matt emulsion available in 2.5L and 100ml sample pot, eggshell available in 2.5L
- Usage:
- supreme matt emulsion is suitable for interior walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture and metalwork (excluding radiators)
- eggshell is suitable for all interior walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture and metalwork (including radiators and pipes). Eggshell is ideal for kitchens and bathrooms as it’s easily wiped down and is resistant to staining from moisture. Dries to a smooth, low sheen (15% gloss level) finish
- if using lime plaster, we'd recommend looking into more breathable chalk or clay-based paints for this usage. Lime plaster expels more moisture than standard plaster, which adversely affects the drying/curing of emulsion paint.
- Coverage:
- 1 litre of supreme matt emulsion paint will cover approximately one coat of a 15m2 area and 1 litre of eggshell paint will cover approximately one coat of a 13m2 area. This depends on the properties of the surface, the colour being used and method of application. We recommend preparing surfaces with our primer to give a more even finish and better depth of colour to your final coat.
