A note from The Monkey Puzzle Tree and the designer...
We collaborated with Sarah Thornton, an artist inspired by the natural world, to create ‘She Chose Science’ superwide wallpaper.
"Finding Inspiration in some discarded vintage graph paper, Sarah sketched her famous birds, colouring in the squares with a kaleidoscope of watercolour paints. The design has been reproduced exactly as the original, revealing the detail of the pencil markings, and retaining the matt texture of the original graph paper.
I aligned myself with those pioneering women artists of the past, looking at the things around me for my inspiration, nature, flowers, motifs that brought comfort and beauty into my world. - Sarah Thornton"
The combination of the beautiful, colourful birds against the graphic background creates a stunning contrast - the soft curves of the birds with the straight lines of the squares providing a perfect juxtaposition. It's this kind of visual interest in an interior space that really takes it to another level and makes the room a joy to be in. If you’re not 100% happy with your order send it back within 60 days for a refund.
The item must be unused and in its original, undamaged packing.
