The sheen, colour and pattern of this oxide copper finish are designed to evolve over time, making it age beautifully. The more you interact with it, the faster this process will occur.
Unlike the oxide copper single switched socket where the on/off power is controlled by the switch, this single unswitched socket is always on whilst the plug is plugged in. Even the less well known sockets like this one deserve to look good.
