Clambering out of the taxi, you link arms with your date and head towards the restaurant. Excitement building for an evening with excellent company, engaging conversation, delicious food and an impeccable setting, you smile broadly as the server greets you warmly and leads you to your table.

Sliding onto the plush green velvet chair, you settle as the waiter unfolds a crisp white napkin across your knee, hands you a menu, and asks what you'd like to drink. 

Ordering a French 75, you watch the waiter retreat and turn your attention to your partner. But you get distracted. As hard as you try to focus on them, the magnificent chandelier suspended overhead is vying for your attention. You've never seen anything like it. 

Several cables drape and drop from one central golden ceiling rose. Each ends with a beautiful frosted globe bulb. But the thing that makes this light a real showstopper is the hanging ferns intermingled with the lightbulbs. It's stunning. 

Fern fronds cascade tantalisingly close to you, and unable to resist reaching for the tendrils, you run your fingertips across the greenery, astonished to find that they're artificial. Well, thinking about it, you guess they would be!

Your drink arrives. The brief interruption reverts your attention to the table, and your companion - who you notice is also craning their neck to see the detail of the light!

As conversation flows, you enjoy the intimacy of the canopy this statement foliage chandelier provides. It has just the right ambience for relaxed chatter, and you both wonder how to fit one above your dining table at home. After all, you have high ceilings and large rooms that swamp most lights. The item must be unused and in its original, undamaged packing.
