Starfishing across the queen size bed, you grin broadly, appreciative of a lavish morning lay-in in a beautiful hotel. Snuggling under the white duvet you plan your day, eager to spend it exploring the sights of the city, ducking into coffee shops and restaurants along the way. But first breakfast.
Throwing on your go-to skinny jeans, black tee and chunky boots, you pluck your blazer from the back of the chair, take one last approving glance in the mirror and head to breakfast.
Weaving down the sweeping spiral staircase, you admire the grandeur of the building and pull your shoulders back as you enter the hotel restaurant. Following the server to your table, you inhale deeply as your gaze falls on the statement ceiling light overhead.
Mesmerised by its beauty, you delight in the delicate fronds that cascade down from the impressively high ceiling. Interspersed with frosted teardrop-shaped light bulbs, this fern chandelier is impactful yet wonderfully tranquil.
