Looking up from the interior design magazine you’re engrossed in, you glance at the clock and realise you’ve spent the last hour pouring over other people’s gorgeous home makeovers.

Scrabbling from your stool at the breakfast bar, you rush around the kitchen, tidying it before the kids arrive home demanding their tea. Wiping crumbs from the wooden worktop, you scootch them into your hand and reach for the silver scoop handle on the bin cupboard. Its glinting surface looks so pleasing against the sage-green shaker-style units.
