Autumn Favourites: Winter Bouquets & Half-Painted Walls
We keep pretty up to date here at D&R with the interiors mags and blogs. I thought I’d share with you a few of my favourite recent features on autumn favourites:
Katie Treggiden posted about her favourites from DesignJunction on Design Milk. I particularly liked London design brand Tiipoi’s powder-coated spun aluminium items and Not Another Bill’s gold pineapple (I keep thinking I might subscribe to that…but do I really need more “stuff”?!)
Abigail Ahern has some gorgeous faux bouquets in at the moment. My favourite is the Woodstock Winter Bouquet (see the featured image). Green hydrangea, Queen Anne’s Lace, pink ranunculus, vibernum, maple leaves, ferns, berry brambles and winter foliage. What’s not to love?
Johanne had me falling in love with half-painted walls on Scandinavian | Love Song. There are lots of good examples of this trend on Pinterest, but I love her curation of images in particular in this blog post.
Do you prefer cosy tartan or luxe metallics? Kathleen at Real Homes Mag explores the Autumn/Winter 2015 trends. My favourites are the dark hues of the Scandinavian styles.
…and last, but not least, I love pretty much everything in the latest issue of My Warehouse Home. Lots of work has obviously gone into the issue.
Enjoy!
