Cocooning yourself in a huge fluffy white towel – the kind only boutique hotels seem to provide – you breathe deeply. Slipping your feet into the complimentary slippers, you wander into the bedroom.

After a day sightseeing in the city, you needed a warm, relaxing bath to reset and get ready for an evening of partying.

Pouring a glass of chilled blush fizz, you take a sip and glance at your outfit hung on the front of the wardrobe: dark denim jeans, a classic crisp white shirt and the take-you-anywhere black leather jacket.

Perching on the dressing table stool, you apply your make-up, finishing with a slick of ruby red lipstick. That's how you're rolling tonight. Teasing your hair into a casually messy updo, you check your phone for the time.

A stream of WhatsApp messages greets you, the group of friends you're meeting all excitedly comparing outfits and making arrangements of when and where to meet. Joining in the chat, you lose track of time, suddenly realising you'd better get dressed in the said outfit and head out.

Strolling into the bar, you pause and stare, eyes widening at the decadent interior styling. Luscious velvet sofas curve around gold tables that shimmer majestically under dreamy light fixtures, and your heart soars as an Aretha Franklin song crescendos from the speakers.
