Skidding down the slipway, you hurry down to the beach, desperate to soak up the last of the summer sun in your favourite spot. Kicking off your sandals, you sink your toes into the sand, your muscles loosening instantly. Dodging pebbles, seaweed and shells, you tiptoe to the shoreline, smiling as the cool sea washes over your feet. There’s not much that can’t be resolved by a quick trip to the beach, and as you gaze out at the white-cliff framed sea, you inhale, appreciative of the soothing power of nature.
Content and composed, you find a sun-soaked spot and sit, scooping up handfuls of pebbly sand before letting it fall through the gaps in your fingertips back down to earth.
