Hooking the olive green lead onto your puppy’s collar, you hold tight as you open the door, laughing as their little legs bound excitedly into the great outdoors. Wild wonderment fills their chocolate brown eyes, and your heart soars as you amble down the leaf-littered path, stopping intermittently to accommodate curious sniffs and inquisitive glances.
Light gusts of wind tousle your hair, and you pull your scarf to your chin, shielding yourself from the icy cold. Strolling through the park, you feel your chunky soles crunch against the frozen grass as pawprints scatter the untouched lawn, and you marvel at the glistening specks of white blanketing the ground.
