Emerging from the shower fresh-faced and skin glowing after a day spent basking in the sun, you lather yourself in moisturiser, before slipping into some super soft loungewear and heading back downstairs. The weather today has been intensely hot, and a refresh was most definitely needed.
Clinking ice into a tall tumbler, you place it beneath the kitchen tap and fill it to the brim with water, listening to the ice crack as it submerges. Gulping back your drink, you potter around the serene green kitchen, turning on the lamps dotted around the place brightening it against the setting sun.
A cool breeze blows in through the bi-fold doors and you grin, appreciative of the drop in temperature. Stepping outside, you gaze across the horizon, captivated by the spectacular sunset skies. Pink transforms to dark blue, and the moon glows white like a beacon. Squinting to make out the shadows of the craters and mountains, you marvel at the bright white beauty.
Nestled outside, you watch as the colourful sky falls darker, making way for the stars to come alive.
