Following your friend upstairs, you look around, taking in the stunning renovation job as she leads you along the hallway and opens the door to your bedroom for the weekend. Instantly you feel calm. The blush pink colour-drenched room is the epitome of relaxed decor. Nothing jolts your eyes or overly excites your senses, but it’s beautiful, and you’re delighted.
Plonking your bags on the floor, you take in your surroundings. Subtle patterns stitched into the bedspread, tonally matched patterned wallpaper, coordinating plush carpet and a velvet headboard all work harmoniously to create interest and intrigue. Even the sash window surround is painted delicate pink, and a Sakura, cherry blossom-scented candle flickers on the dressing table, infusing the air with its intoxicating fragrance.
Rose gold accents glow as sunlight pours into the room. Belgravia copper wall lights, with their frosted orb bulbs, pick up on the Art Deco hints peppered throughout the space. You can’t resist twiddling the polished copper dimmer dial next to the bed, and the wall lamps glow beautifully, adding to the aura of serenity.
