Climbing the stairs with armfuls of toys, you make your way towards your daughter’s bedroom, keen to return them to their rightful places. Pausing on the landing, you balance the teetering tower and tentatively nudge the light switch with your elbow.
Above you, the Baglioni silver stairwell light illuminates. It’s five stunning frosted bulbs cascading down over the stairs on lengths of black Italian fabric cable. The silver colour of the hardware perfectly matches your period home, and the ribbed design details add just the right contemporary contrast you love.
The backdrop of silvery herb leaf green walls, white painted woodwork and silver picture frames of your gallery wall pull together to form such a pleasing vignette that you stand a moment to absorb the calming vibes.
Blinking back to the present, you slink along the hallway and bump the door to her bedroom with your hip. Releasing the heap of toys onto her bed, you turn back to switch the light on - twisting the dimmer dial, a cluster of frosted bubbles glows beautifully above you.
