Light Fittings

Well, armed with a few lighting components, basic DIY skills and a bit of patience, you could make your own pendant light with our light fittings. Light fittings that perfectly match the picture in your head and are uniquely yours, the perfect expression of your style personality.

If you’re making a ceiling pendant start with the rose: that’s the bit that fixes to your ceiling. Choose your metal finish; there’s black, gold, copper, white, silver, and more. Next, choose your fabric cable – no plastic wires here thank you very much – just the finest, Italian cables in a multitude of different colours – that’ll be your hardest decision! 

After that, you’ll need a bulb holder: threaded for fitting a lamp shade and plain if you’re going for the bare-bulb look. Lastly, the bulb itself. We have some gorgeous LED bulbs that will last for ages and are kind on the environment too. The frosted globe is ideal in a lampshade or if you’re adding a cage. If you’re favouring a statement, feature bulb then Aurora, Celestia, Nova, Pandora and Luna are all as out of this world as their names would suggest. Just beautiful.

If you’re sold on the idea of making your own light fittings but worried about playing with electricity, then nip over to our bespoke lighting section. As you pick the components, you’ll see a representation of your light building up, and you can select to have it fully assembled with PAT testing too. So your pendant light fitting will be ready to hang when it arrives. The only job on your list is to book the electrician!
