Sinking into your tan leather armchair, you flick the standing lamp on before opening your book. Losing yourself in the classic tale of Cathy’s undying love for the rebellious Heathcliffe, you read until the sky outside turns inky black, barely noticing the clock ticking by.
Standing, you wander to the drinks cabinet for an evening nightcap. Tracing your fingertips over the copper cabinet knob, you smile. The flat, smooth surface paired with the bowled underside is joyous to hold, and you watch specks of light glint on the shiny surface.
